Training & Consultancy
Blue Mountain Activities offers Single Pitch Award training and assessment courses. These courses are aimed at adults who have a genuine interest in rock climbing and the supervision of groups on single pitch crags. Course participants must have at least 12 months’ experience of rock climbing. The training and assessment courses consist of two days; day one will focus on personal skills and day two on group management. We also offer Single Pitch Award Refresher days prior to assessment.
Consultancy Services
Steve Roberts holds the Mountain Instructors Certificate; this is the highest National Award in the UK for teaching and instructing all aspects of mountaineering, both in summer and winter including rock climbing, scrambling, winter mountaineering and technical snow and ice climbing. Steve has the qualifications and experience to act as a technical advisor for all rock climbing and mountaineering activities to individuals, schools, colleges, voluntary organisations, outdoor centres and professional organisations. This service includes:

- Acting as Technical Expert/Advisor to fulfil AALA requirements
