Youth Groups
We offer an action packed and varied programme of adventure activities that are fun, safe and informative. The activities are individually tailored to the needs of the individual and group. An appropriate level of challenge is set depending on the age (9 – 19 years) and experience of the group.
The programme of adventure activities aims to encourage personal development, team working skills together with an appreciation of the environment.
A programme of adventure activities would aim to broaden experiences and to provide opportunities for enrichment. Meeting and successfully overcoming varied challenges lead to a great sense of achievement and can help to raise self-esteem and to increase self-confidence.
Activities include; rock scrambling, rock climbing, abseiling, orienteering, stream scrambling, canoeing, cave/mine exploration, high/low ropes, improvised raft- building and problem solving.
- All our staff are very experienced and appropriately professionally qualified.
- All outdoor equipment is well maintained to a high standard.
- The activity programme may be for a day, two days or multi days or as part of a residential experience. Two activities can be combined in any one day, for example, rock climbing in the morning (3-4 hours) followed by canoeing in the afternoon (3-4 hours). If you would like a full programme, then a third activity can be arranged for an evening session (3-4 hours).
